چکیده

An elementary formalism is described to generate series of massless radial excitations within a relativistic BS (confinement) model, thus excluding orbital excitations. Coupling the photon to the constituent scalar, a finite self-mass integral results in the lowest order of a. It represents an infinite system of self-consistent equations for an infinite number of leptonic masses. The system can be solved numerically. It is shown to have an increasing and a decreasing solution and approximate solutions are determined. The increase seems to obey an exponential law. This would suggest the existence of a fourth lepton in the 25 GeV region.

Leptonic µ-and τ-decays: mass effects, polarization effects and O(α) radiative corrections Abstract We calculate the radiative corrections to the unpolarized and the four polarized spectrum and rate functions in the leptonic decay of a polarized µ into a polarized electron. The new feature of our calculation is that we keep the mass of the final state electron finite which is mandatory if one w...

A Flavor Symmetry Model for Bilarge Leptonic Mixing and the Lepton Masses

We present a model for leptonic mixing and the lepton masses based on flavor symmetries and higher-dimensional mass operators. The model predicts bilarge leptonic mixing (i.e., the mixing angles θ12 and θ23 are large and the mixing angle θ13 is small) and an inverted hierarchical neutrino mass spectrum. Furthermore, it approximately yields the experimental hierarchical mass spectrum of the char...

Bilarge Leptonic Mixing and Lepton Masses from Flavor Symmetries

We present a model for leptonic mixing and the lepton masses based on anomalous U(1) charges and a non-Abelian flavor symmetry. The model yields bilarge leptonic mixing, an inverted neutrino mass spectrum and hierarchical charged lepton masses. The non-Abelian flavor symmetry enforces an approximately maximal atmospheric mixing angle and predicts the relation θ12 π4 − θ13 between the solar and ...

A new bridge between leptonic CP violation and leptogenesis

Flavor effects due to lepton interactions in the early Universe may have played an important role in the generation of the cosmological baryon asymmetry through leptogenesis. If the only source of high-energy CP violation comes from the left-handed leptonic sector, then it is possible to establish a bridge between flavored leptogenesis and low-energy leptonic CP violation. We explore this conne...

Leptonic µ-and τ-decays: mass effects, polarization effects and O(α) radiative corrections Abstract We calculate the radiative corrections to the unpolarized and three polarized spectrum and rate functions in polarized µ-decays into polarized electrons. The new feature of our calculation is that we keep the mass of the final state electron finite. Analytical results are given for the energy spe...
